Umeed Foundation organized Umang Winter Carnival 2025 to reach the unreached.

The event was a heart-warming celebration of joy, talent, and togetherness, held on 21st December 2025 at Netaji Subhas Vidyalaya sports ground, Mollar Gate, Santoshpur (South 24 Pgns).

The carnival began with an inspiring inaugural address by Ms. Salony Priya, Trustee of Umeed Foundation, setting the tone for a day filled with hope and happiness. Children from various NGOs lit up the stage with beautiful performances, showcasing their confidence, creativity and talent.

Adding to the spirit of empowerment, participating NGOs set up stalls displaying and selling products made by the children, giving them a platform to shine and learn the value of effort and entrepreneurship.

The day was filled with laughter as children enjoyed fun games like dart throw, ring game, and hitting the wicket, dice game, ball in the basket and skipping along with delicious treats from multiple food stalls. The carnival concluded on a joyful note with prize distribution, celebrating every child’s participation and enthusiasm.

Umang truly reflected the spirit of inclusion, celebration, and childhood joy.
